Application Requirements

• All submissions MUST be accompanied by a current .jpeg or .png headshot and bio to be considered
• There is no cost to the applicant/ class member
• Applicant must have been a MMBOR Member prior to March 1st, 2025 to be eligible for consideration
• Class selections will be announced at the MMBOR Installation Ceremony Wednesday December 9th, 2026
• All Leadership Academy class members are required to acknowledge the following

General Release *

I have applied for admission to the 2027 Class of the MMBOR Leadership Academy and have been permitted through a selection process to participate in the activities associated therewith.

I am participating in the aforesaid activities solely on my own initiative, risk and responsibility.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the MMBOR Leadership Academy I have for myself, my heirs, assigns, successors and personal representatives, hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the MMBOR Leadership Academy, the Mid-Missouri Board of REALTORS®, its officers, directors, agents and employees (all of which are individually and collectively hereafter referred to as "MMBOR") from all liability on account of injury to the person or property of the undersigned, caused by the negligence on the part of MMBOR. 

The undersigned, being of lawful age, do for myself, my heirs, successors, assigns and personal representatives, hereby release and forever discharge MMBOR, their heirs, personal representatives, successors and assigns, as the case may be, of and from any and every claim, demand action or right of action of whatsoever kind or nature arising or by reason of any bodily injury or property damage that which may occur as a result of my participation in the MMBOR Leadership Academy and all events and activities connected therewith.

Acceptance Agreement *

If selected, I accept appointment to the 2027 Class of the MMBOR Leadership Academy.

1. Schedule of Session

As a member of the MMBOR Leadership Academy, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL SESSIONS and for the entire duration of the class. Each session has a topic assigned to the day- e.g. Media Day, Local Government Day, Non-Profit Day, etc. Please schedule 8am - 5pm for each session day except December 9th, 2026 which is an evening event, or December 15th, which is a short Orientation.

• December 9th, 2026 (6 - 8pm) - Class is introduced at Installation & Awards Ceremony
• December 15th, 2026 - Orientation session and mixer with Leadership Academy Alumni (2 hour event)
• January 28th, 2027 - REALTOR® Day
• February 24th, 2027 - Media Day
• March 10th, 2027 - Capitol Visit with Missouri REALTORS®
• April 14th, 2027 - Civic Day
• May 19th , 2027 - Non-Profit Day
• June 16th, 2027 - Local Government Day
• August 18th 2027- MMBOR Annual Meeting/Graduation

2. Program Policies

Attendance at all sessions is mandatory. Dates are provided above for your calendar. Those who fail to attend (without prior approval, in extreme circumstances) will be removed from the program.

Photo Release *

I hereby grant the MMBOR Leadership Academy permission to use my likeness in a photograph, video or other digital media in any an all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration.

I understand and agree that all photos will become the property of the MMBOR Leadership Academy and will not be returned.

I hereby irrevocably authorize the MMBOR Leadership Academy to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose.  I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherin my likeness appears, Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo.
